Work Health and Safety legislation requires you to be licenced to operate cranes in Australia.

A slewing mobile crane is a mobile crane that integrates a boom jib that can be slewed (swing around).

C2 slewing mobile cranes have a manufacturer’s rated capacity of 20 tonnes.

C6 slewing mobile cranes have a manufacturer’s rated capacity of 60 tonnes.

A slewing telehandler can be fitted with a boom and/or jib with a hoist rope and/or hook block to a C2 or a C6 crane. However, you will need a high-risk work licence which will be subject to the telehandler’s rated capacity.
